A note from Health First about COVID-19

​​​​​​​The health and safety of our customers, candidates, and employees is our top priority. To protect our community during this time, we've made some updates to our hiring plans and practices. Communication is essential, so we put together some FAQs to help articulate what's changing. If you have any questions, please reach out and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

COVID-19 Vaccine Update

While not currently requiring COVID vaccines under Emergency Use Authorization, Health First intends to require COVID vaccines of all associates as a condition of employment once they are fully approved, unless the individual has a bona fide medical or religious exemption.

Question (Q) - What is Coronavirus? 
Answer (A) - According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the virus responsible for the current outbreak of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is part of a large family of viruses, known as Coronaviruses, that cause illnesses ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases. Q - What is your company's policy around coronavirus?
A - In response to measures enacted by local and federal governments, Health First is aligning with recommendations from the CDC. More information to this can be found at www.hf.org or www.CDC.gov 

Q - Are your facilities open? 
A - All operational areas are open and will remain open, we are continuing to align around the CDC guidelines for volume of visitors, etc and remain open at this time.

Q - Are you rescheduling the events you cancelled?
A - We will look to reschedule events for the near future. Stay tuned as we release more information on future events.

Q - Are you hiring?
A - Yes! We are still looking for talent to join our Health First team. If you are interested in a position, we recommend you submit an application. Our recruiters will review your profile and will be in contact.

Q - Should I apply now, or postpone my application due to the situation?
A - We are hiring.  Please apply to express interest and monitor your email for next steps in our process.

Q - What happens if I apply now?
A - You will receive a confirmation email of your application being received and you will receive a follow up email related to next steps in your journey as the recruitment team reviews  your qualifiications and interest for the opportunity available.

Q - How long does it take to hear back?
A - Follow up will be less than 1 week, if you have questions you can call us at 866.448.4347

Q - I have an interview scheduled, should I still show up?
A - Please contact your recruiter, you will be contacted to establish a phone, video or alternative location for interview.

Q - I am concerned about my safety, are there options to re-schedule my interview?
A - Absolutely.  All interviews have been adjusted to be either a phone or video format.

Q - Can I participate in a virtual interview?
A - Yes,  Your recruiter will be in touch to schedule a Video interview.

Q - Can I postpone my interview?
A - If you need to postpone your interview, please reach out to your recruiter. We will coordinate a new interview time that works best for you. 

Q - Are we still accepting referrals?
A - Yes, we are still accepting referrals. You can submit referrals for any open jobs, or make a general referral. Our recruiters will intercept all referrals and contact the referred candidates as appropriate.  

Q - What information can I share with my referral?
A - Our recruiters will review all referrals as they come in and will determine next steps. Hiring is not halted.

Q - Will my referral still be valid during this time?
A - Yes! Our recruiters will continue to process your referrals during this time period.

Q - Can I still apply to another internal job?
A - Yes. Health First is hiring.

Q - Can I apply for positions in other offices?
A - Yes. Health First is hiring.

Q - How long does it take to hear back?
A -  A Health First Recruiter will provide prompt feedback.  

Q - I have already applied to an internal job, will my application be halted?
A - Our recruiting team will be in touch with you to keep you informed about the status of your application. 

Q - Does Health First hire people to work in the cafeteria or clean in the hospital?

Q - Why don't I see all the jobs from the email you sent?
A - Some of the jobs have been subsequently filled. You will receive another job alert email shortly with updated jobs.
